Who’s writing?
I’ve been building things on the internet for 22 years, ever since I dropped out of high school. I’m the Chief Product Offer at Monzo Bank and a non-executive board member at VidIQ. I’m also a trustee at BookTrust, the children’s reading charity.
I was previously Chief Technology Officer at Deliveroo, and I ran Ads Product at Facebook immediately after the IPO. I started out as a programmer and sysadmin before co-founding an internet video company called Blip in 2005.
I live in a village outside Cambridge with my wife, two kids and a family of ducks. I used to live in London, San Francisco, New York City and Connecticut.
Why a substack?
I used to blog a lot. About almost everything. I haven’t written for an audience in a really long time, but I’m excited to start again. I’ll write about whatever I’m interested in at the moment. Product management, FinTech, food delivery, politics and social media will probably feature prominently.
